WindDancer is a small hobby kennel in Windsor Locks, CT. My goal is to produce healthy, stable, beautiful Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis for companionship, performance and show.

Born into a sporting dog family, I didn’t realize my true love of the herding group until the early 1990’s. My foundation Pembroke bitch, LeftBank Lasting Impression (“Taylor”) never really made it in the show ring, but was an amazing producer. She was the beginning of my love of the “Fairy Steed.”

In 2008, while attending the Canadian National, I met Betty Mercer, a longtime Pembroke breeder (Aylesford). We have paired our breeding programs and our collaboration has been nothing less than spectacular. Our pedigrees complemented each other very well and have resulted in over 17 Champions to date!

I am now working on my 7th generation of Champion Pembrokes and with each litter I learn a little more.

My direction turned a little in 2007 when I got my first Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Suncliffe Truro @ WindDancer (“Rowan”). Rowan has taught me the love of ‘the Corgi with a tail!’

I am a member of Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, Mayflower Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club, the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America, Yankee Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club and the Lowell Kennel Club. I’m also a member of the Mayflower Pembroke Rescue group and on the Board of Directors for BASK (Balance and Service K9s).

Feel free to browse my site and contact me if you have any questions!
